tiksaverX provides browser-based software utilities that parse publicly accessible hyperlinks and facilitate the direct retrieval of digital media streams from third-party content distribution networks. tiksaverX does not host, store, replicate, or archive any audio, video, or image files on its servers. The Service operates exclusively as a technical intermediary, resolving publicly available media URLs and passing streaming data directly to your client device.

3. Permitted Personal & Archival Use

The Service is licensed to you strictly for lawful, personal, non-commercial, and archival purposes. Permissible uses include:

  • Creating personal backup copies of content that you originally created and uploaded to supported platforms.
  • Archiving publicly available media for private, offline educational review, personal study, or non-commercial research.
  • Engaging in transformative fair use as permitted under applicable copyright laws (e.g., criticism, commentary, news reporting, or educational scholarship).

4. User Responsibility & Intellectual Property Compliance

You agree not to engage in any activity that compromises the security, availability, or operational integrity of the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Attempting to circumvent, bypass, or defeat rate limiting, CAPTCHAs, or any other protective security mechanisms implemented by tiksaverX.
  • Launching denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, flooding server resources, or introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code.
  • Attempting to bypass digital rights management (DRM), cryptographic controls, paywalls, or password-protected barriers on third-party platforms.
  • Using the Service for any unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or abusive purpose.

6. Third-Party Trademarks & Independent Status

tiksaverX is an independent web application. All product and service names, logos, and trademarks—including TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Meta, Twitter / X, and Douyin—are the registered trademarks of their respective owners. Their display on our website is solely for descriptive identification and compatibility purposes under nominative fair use principles. tiksaverX is not endorsed by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with any of these platform operators.

7. Third-Party Advertising & Partner Disclosures

The Service is funded in part through third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. When using tiksaverX, you may encounter third-party advertisements and sponsored promotional links. We do not endorse or assume liability for the products, services, claims, or privacy practices of third-party advertisers. Your interactions with advertisers are governed entirely by the terms and policies of those respective third parties.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless tiksaverX, its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Service; (b) your violation of any provision of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that media retrieved using your account or IP address caused damage to a third party.

12. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and tiksaverX concerning the use of the Service.
